This week on Film Jams, we’re taking a break from our focus on lighting and camera gear to look at what sells your movie: the trailer, and using classic movie trailer quotes for impactful moments.
It’s a big world out there, and people need to find your movie. One way to get some attention is a badass, memorable one-liner or catch phrase. Something people will remember and associate with your movie.
Movie trailers are meant to show off the highlights of your movie, and you have to ask yourself, what would people want to see in my movie trailer? A lengthy dialogue scene may be tough to get interest in the fast-paced online world. But, if you sprinkle some exciting one-liners into your movie trailer, people pay perk up, and potentially be interested in seeing more.
